Bracelet Fundraising for Baby Amy!

Amy, a toddler at church became sick with breast cancer at age 3. Her mom and aunt were devastated. In my memory of when my aunt died of cancer I promised her that I would raise money for the cause. So at church we decided to sell pink bracelets for Amy! For a cure!
Well ladies at the church and I came with a plan.We were going to do a carnival for kids. We decided we were going to partner up in two's and just knock on people's door to sell them tickets $3.00 dollars each for the carnival and and extra $15.00 for a pink bracelet for Amy!
Boy were we amazed. We sold over 900 tickets and we had to make our carnival way bigger than what we expected at first. We raised of $16,000.00 toward Amy. We were so proud. I believe that just talking and going to knock on doors is the key. Very personal to a lot of people.
