Calendar Fund Raiser for Christmas Party

We did a calendar fund raiser for our children's Christmas party several years ago. We started out with all of the children and grandchildren whose parents and grandparents worked at our small company in Anniston AL, however, it quickly produced so much activity and enthusiasm in the community that it became something that was all the rave with several companies in the local community.

Our initial thoughts were to have a "babies" calendar, a "toddler" calendar, and a calendar for "elementary age". We expanded this to include a teen and a family calendar. Most people need calendars and they would much rather look at folks they know than just a pretty picture.

We found that corporations as well as small companies alike were big on the idea of continuing the "family" atmosphere on their calendars...we probably got 50 pictures in our baby calendar the first year, which was pretty good for such a small company.

Each picture was edited to fit and we sold the calendars for $9.99 each...they went like hotcakes...as well as all the other calendars...the print for them worked out to be about $3.00 each so overall we raised approximately $8000 for all the calendars we made - this made a great kids Christmas party.
