Car Donation Fundraiser Zooms to $7500

There were several automobiles that didn't seem to be in use. 3 of the 4 vehicles looked like collector items with a little money. 1 vehicle was a 1956 Chevy stepside pickup. It was in great demand. The other 2 were nice little commuter vehicles. We were careful to make sure that all vehicles had clear titles.
We advertised at local grocery stores throughout the community. We sold tickets in a raffle style. We really pushed the collector pickup truck. We stated that there were 4 vehicles available. All were running vehicles but 1 lucky winner would receive the Chevy pickup. We sold the tickets for $1.00 piece.
We made $7,500 for the class trip and graduation party. Everyone involved had lots of fun and made lots of money for the class.
