Car Smash Fundraiser

For a fundraiser in high school, my classmates and I thought it would be very unique and attract a lot of people by doing a "Car Smash" fundraiser. It was never done before and we knew it would get students to participate. We were raising money for our senior trip to a water park.

The fundraiser was donation based and allowed students and teachers to take turns smashing a junk car with a sledge hammer. The car was donated to us by a local junkyard. So each participant would donate what they wanted and took a few smashes at the car. It was a great stress reliever and was a great time.

Our class raised approximately $500 in donations. Which was enough to cover our expenses to the water park. Great time and success!
