Cheer Calenders!

When I was in High School, I was on a very competitive cheer team. One of the fundraisers to help pay for our VERY expensive uniforms was selling calanders.

Each year our cheer advisor organized a photo shoot and cheerleaders around our area took photos and were put in the calander. I was lucky to get my birthday month May, so it was very special. Also in the calanders were business cards.

We went to companies around our area and asked them if they would like to buy a apot in our calender. Most companies took advantage of that. After the calenders were printed, we all were required to sell 100 calenders. So we went door to door in our cheer uniforms and "cheered" our neighboors into buying one. We made sure to be enthusiastic and smile.

Every year I ended up paying off my cheer uniform for that year and the next! It was very successful!
