Church Fundraiser Raises a Million Dollars

We have a youth program in our church in Maryland that wanted to raise money for supporting the homeless in our area. Our pastor was not sure of what to do as he hosted several people in the church compound. We decided to build a home for them but the expenses were so high for us.
One evening when were meeting a suggestion came up that we use a promotion where winning a vacation was the top prize. However, the logistics were still tough because we needed publicity.
We approached a local mobile provider who agreed to give us a contract to run the promotion. We were to share the revenue with them on a ratio of sixty to forty. One of the lady members in our church was a radio presenter.
She approached her boss who accepted to support the cause by allowing free announcements. After six weeks, we had raised a cool one million dollars. The revenue was shared as agreed in the contract. We were able to accomplish the task and at the same time send the winner on vacation in Europe.
Praised is the Lord who had to intervene.
