College Candy Fundraiser

While a student in college, my organization wanted to raise some money for various events and plans. It was ordered in bulk from Gertrude Hawk's web page. It was then divided up amongst the members who were asked to sell it. It was a successful fundraiser for our group because we targeted people in desperate need of chocolate– other college students! We offered it to anyone up late studying in the dorms or library, or just with a later night craving. We also carried to our classes where students too busy to grab a meal gratefully purchased a candy bar. We priced each full size bar at $1.50 and were able to make a $300 profit.
