Cookie dough madness

I had 4 kids in elementary school at the time raising money for trips for all grades. Do you know how hard it is to get the same cookie dough fundraiser for all 4 kids? It is very hard but not impossable to do.
First thing they tell you is not to go door to door. But what else are we suppose to do when everyone in your neighborhood has the same fundraiser. Much less all of your kids also.
Well we decided to go around to a few of the business in the are local town and see if anyone was interested or if we could leave a flyer that they could go online with and order. That ended up be a good idea about the flyer and them going online and shopping for themselves. They didn't have to be in a hurry and could do it when they got paid and we didn't have to come back when they got paid. Also we didn't have to deliver the product afterwords either. I know a lot of the parents have had enough after taking there kids around to get sells. But now we have to deliver the product also.
My kids ended up raising about 200.00-500.00 each doing it that way. A couple of them were top sellers for there classes and some where not.
