Cross Your Heart and Hope to Pie

A while ago, a friend of mine has a heart condition and couldn't afford to pay for her treatment and medical bills. We organized a fundraiser that involved activities with pie. We held a raffle for a chance to pie another friend in the face and the tickets also contained information about the pies we were selling to also raise funds. This helped hype up our sales of the pie. I think it is a good idea to do a variety of activities that revolve around a common thing. We made nearly $2000 which really helped her out. She's doing great now!
