Dance Fundraiser
What we did was got with local companies to provide food/drinks/snacks for for a "Benefit Dance". There was a small fee to attend the dance, plus there was small fee's for the food and drinks. We advertised through most of the local businesses in town.
We came up with the dance idea so we could draw in a younger crowd. Especially since this was for a young boy.
The local businesses were very excited to participate, and did their part to help promote the fundraiser at their store locations.
We ended up raising enough money for him to get his electric wheelchair, plus extra money for any additional medical expenses the family was struggling with at the time.
It was a great success and i would highly recommend this method for anyone.
