Doesn't Everyone Love Cookie Dough? YES!

The cookie dough sold like nothing I had ever seen. I felt that it was priced right and was something that just about anyone would be willing to buy. I suggested it to Tammy, who suggested it to the PTA, and then they decided to go with that idea.
I helped Tammy get the information together, as she was voted the one in charge, and I also helped her sell some of it for her daughter at my workplace.
The cookie dough fundraiser was a wonderful success. They ended up raising enough money to save the art program with some money left over to help next year if needed. They actually set up a fund for the art program to make sure that the money raised only went to that particular program.
I do not know exactly how much was raised (I am not a member of the PTA and Tammy was not permitted to share that info with anyone), but I would guess it was a lot! I know there was a lot of excitement surrounding the cookie dough sales. Almost everyone that looked at the sales flyers at work ordered at least one tub but usually two or three. I myself ordered two! Everyone loves cookies, right?
Honestly, I think what made this so successful was the fact that we were selling something that everyone pretty much enjoys, selling it at a reasonable price ($8.00 for a 2lb tub), and selling it for something that many people are passionate about...art. I would recommend cookie dough sales to ANYONE who is trying to raise money. I have never seen anything like it!
