Extra Bucks From an Ebay Fundraiser

At Hancock Creek Elementary school we are always coming up with fresh new ideas to raise money for the school and the students. Since the internet has been big lately a parent recommend that it might be a good idea to auction things on ebay. After the principals approval all of the teachers informed the students to bring in gently used items such as books, clothing, toys, etc. Each teacher was in charge of collecting the items from the students and putting them up for sale on ebay. At the end of the month the teachers all got together to report how much of a profit was made from the items they sold. When everything was added up together we raised $3,510 dollars which directly went into the schools fund. It was definitely a smashing success for an auction fundraiser. The class with the most money raised received a pizza party. The second class with the most money raised got an ice cream party. Promoting the fundraiser with some kind of a party for the class that raised the most money definitely gave the students inspiration to bring in as many items as they could. Overall, the fundraiser was great and everyone actively participated.
