Free Fundraiser Idea #6
Shop online and earn money for your school at the same time.
Go to HouseofLinks.com and register your school. They'll create a special shopping page for your school's supporters.
Spread the word. Send all your friends, relatives, teachers, students and anyone else who buys stuff online to that page. When they buy stuff, your school will get a portion (a commission) for every dollar spent.
The merchants pay House of Links a commission on each purchase and House of Links then sends the entire commission (100% of it) to your school. Cool.
Now, you may be thinking that the prices must have been increased to pay for the commission. Nope. It's the same stores you'd visit and same stuff you'd buy anyway at the same prices - even stuff that's on sale.
Your school raises money and it doesn't cost a penny.
Note: There are other services like this on the internet, but those companies keep a portion of the commission for themselves (25 - 50%) and send the school the rest.

How would you like to raise money for your school all year long, for free, and with almost no effort?
Washington Mutual has a program designed specifically for schools, called WaMoola for Schools, that allows you to raise money for your favorite school all year long, day and night, just by doing what you normally do every day.
Sign up for a free personal or business checking account and they'll give you a free debit card to use for all your spending; dining out, gas, bills...whatever.
When you sign up, this also entitles you to join WaMoola for Schools. Every time you make a purchase for anything at all, you earn points. Every point is worth a small amount of money, and when you accumulate enough points in a calendar year, they'll donate an equivalent amount to your school.
It's a slow, steady way to raise money, but it's also free and effortless. How can you lose?

The only thing you'll need for this fundraiser is plenty of enthusiastic volunteers, so it's especially appropriate for large non-profit groups such as schools and churches.
There are presently 11 states in the US that require retailers to charge a deposit for beverage containers – mostly glass bottles – and give the deposit back to consumers when the bottle is returned.
If you live in one of these states you can help the environment and earn money for your fundraiser or charity simultaneously. Volunteers simply collect bottles throughout the year either by collecting them as they're used or by scavenging the roadsides looking for discards. At only 5 cents per bottle, it may seem like a waste of time and effort, but it can really add up.
Denise C. from Michigan writes: “This last year we started a bottle drive (in MI we have bottle deposits) It was going to be a week long event but turned into a year long event. We have raised several thousand dollars. We contacted a couple of local stores to help with the returns.”
Families can collect bottles from their own use and from relatives, and can contact neighbors to get donations. Most people are interested in recycling to some degree, so it’s not hard to find willing contributors if you make it easy for them.

Did someone say residual income?
Do you know anyone who uses the internet? Has a cell phone? Makes long distance calls? Has a website? Watches satellite TV?
Sign up for a FREE account at Talk Matters and then have your group (and everyone they know) sign up for these services through your FREE web page (which they'll give you) and you (or your group) will get a portion of what each one of them pays for these services every month.
Every month. From now ‘til the end of time.
The best part? Okay, that was the best part.
The second best part? The services are as cheap as you'll find them anywhere.
