Fruit Fundraiser For Europe Trip

I fundraised through my school's German Club group and we did everything from working at sporting events, selling candles, selling fruit boxes, t-shirts, flowers during Valentines day and suckers.
Fruit boxes were the most profitable fundraiser that I have done. I think knowing that you were going to make a lot of money was enough incentive for many of us.
I went door to door around my neighborhood and asked all family and friend members if they wanted to buy a box of fruit. There were many boxes to choose from, the prices ranged from $6-$40 depending on amount of fruit in a box and each box was decorated with a bow and would arrive before Christmas. My parents also took copies of my order forms to their workplaces and had it so that their co-workers could buy.
I think fruit boxes are kind of out of the norm as far as fundraising goes, and a lot of people buy fruit anyway, so it is kind of a nice thing to have.
I delivered all the boxes to my customers door with a handwritten thank you note. I raised $748 doing this for three years for my Europe trip.
