Fund raising for spastic children

Once it happened that I have come across a group of people who where having an organisation for spastic children. The organisation had very little fund so they approached my friend for raising fund to help them. My friend came to me with the matter and we went to visit the organisation and were very moved to see the pathetic condition of the children there. The organisation was a small one, the staffs working there where very sincere and really helps them a lot. They try to teach them various activities like dance, song and they had shown some of the performance of the kids there who at the level of their ability performed as well as they can.
Both of us where moved by the experience and we had in our mind to make them perform at our monthly function and raise funds for their organisation. We some how put the matter at the office and asked the rest of the people about it and all employees agreed to the idea and all of us together put forth the matter to our chairman. First he didn't give permission later on he agreed to the idea and allowed us to organise the event and raise funds for the purpose.
We organised the whole event and brought the spastic children to our organisation and they where given the opportunity to perform and to our surprise almost every one including our chairman was present for the program. The kids performed so well in front of us according to their ability all of us was so spellbound and moved that all had decided to contribute to the spastic organisation. We where able to raise more than 800 dollars, and succeeded in the fund raising idea for such noble cause. The spastic organisation was very happy and thanked us for the same. We were very happy at the same time amazed to see the kids dancing and performing on stage with their handicap. The whole event was touching and every one appreciated our idea and praised us a lot.
