Fundraiser for 6th Grade Trip

We were trying to raise money for the 6th grade class to pay for their trip to Washington D.C. The group involved was the 6th graders and their parents. We did a number of things to raise the money. We had several bake sales where the kids would sell baked goods for $.50 each. The kids had a candy store at lunch where they sold candy to the other students. At Christmas several moms baked cookies and made cookie trays which ended up making us $500. The kids also staged a dinner and a show where families paid for dinner and were treated to a variety show performed by the 6th graders. The class also had several Market Day fundraiser sales. In the end they made enough to pay for all of the 6th graders trip fees.
