Fundraiser with Honey and Preserves! Yum!

Our school had a local organic grower sell the school organic honey and organic preserves (jams and jellies) at their cost to produce them. Getting the items at cost from the producer really boosted their profits. All they had to do was ask!

The kids had some jars on hand to sell and took orders for the rest. They set up booths at holiday craft fairs and outside grocery stores. The items went well as "organic" seems to be all the buzz.

The kids did terrific and raised a lot of money for their trip to Washington DC.

Thirty kids made $1563. Not too shabby! What terrific kids!
