Fundraising for the NSPCC

I helped organise a charity fundraiser for the NSPCC - National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty against Children.

Following the death of Baby P in London, who died in horrific injuries due to abuse from his carers, I felt extremely motivated to fundraise for this charity as I know that the money raised would go towards preventing any other child from dying again.

The fundraiser that we organised was a charity casino. Everyone had to buy "chips" but all these chips were not redeemable but all the cash went directly to the charity.

We first had to sell tickets to the actual event itself, and organised a venue for this event. Then at the event itself, we had to encourage people to buy chips to continue gambling.

Overall it was a great success, with us managing to raise more than £10,000.
