Fundraising with Candy

When I was in high school, the most popular fundraising technique was selling candy. Every club did it. I did it for Latin club, marching band, Key Club, and a few others. Thankfully, my high school didn’t allow every club to fundraise at the same time. The school administration had each club sign up for a slot of time in which they could sell the candy. It made each club as successful as possible.
Personally, I found that the after school hours were when I sold the most. I carried the candy with me wherever I went because everyone in the community knew about the fundraising. I had a friend that would take all of the candy we didn’t sell and take it home on the bus with her. She always sold whatever I didn’t sell at the end of every day.
Also, I knew a lot of people that had their parents take a few boxes into work each day. Candy is always a big seller in offices.
