Fundraising with Fun Candy at the Mall

In the past year the company I work for (A private University) organized a fund raiser to help gather money to make special activities with local children of the community.
We organized 3 fundraisers at 3 local malls, we established a small stand with the logo of the university and a fun design with bright colors and fun images, the reason for this is to attract children, witch are the main target of the fundraisers. We made sure to deliver the message about our fundraiser with brochures for the parents of the children to make it clear about our goals.
We chose the malls because people that attend there have some kind of economic resources, so they can help us out. Our "FUN CANDY" motto was because we made fun bags, each included a toy (boy or girl), assorted candies, a cookie and a bar of chocolate, the cost of the bag with everything was about $3.50, we sold the "FUN CANDY" for about $5 each.
We usually made the campaign on Saturdays and Sundays, when there´s more traffic of people, we sold over $5000 in a weekend, from time to time we involved clowns and other entertainers to help us out and attract customers.
