Funny video to make asking for money less awkward

I work for a Buddhist church and we wanted to build a new shrine room. So instead of just asking for money we made an entertaining video featuring some of the pet dogs of the members of the church then we did a funny voice overs and had the animals ask for money. It was hilarious and I think people gave a little extra because it made them laugh. We raised around seven thousand dollars from it and was a lot of fun. We haven't completed our project yet because it is quite expensive, but it helped and was a fun alternative to boring fund raising.
