Getting the Hang of it!

Our youth group decided they would like to try to sell World's Finest Chocolate. Every family took a box and attempted different methods. One family split the box with the children selling candy bars at school and their dad selling at work in the break room. They sold 1 box in a week. One family went to their family, friends, & neighbors. In three weeks they sold 1 box. One father set a box at his barber shop as the rest of the family did home schooling and had just moved to the area. They really didn't know anyone and had no family in the area nor did they have any experience in selling anything besides having a yard sale. The dad sold the box in 2 weeks. The home schooling family decided to call a local store to find out about setting up a table in front. It was approved. They sold 1 1/2 boxes in a day. They decided to book another day and sit at both doors. They were filled with enthusiasm as they sold 4 boxes that day. Expanding their efforts they invited another family to join them when they booked another day. The new children actually decided to ask the people coming in and out of the store if they would like to buy a candy bar. They were rewarded by selling 9 boxes and receiving $70 in donations that day! Now we don't have to sell as often but we know how to make the most out of our time when we do sell!
