How I put the "fun" in fundraiser!

Being about 10 years old, and needing money desperately for summer church camp, I developed a plan to get money. I loved to cook, especially baked goods. So what did I do? I baked many cookies and cupcakes, loaded a basket, and did a door to door bake-sale. I made about 100 dollars the first week! It wasn't just that the cookies were made from scratch and ready to eat then, it was persistence on my part. Not everyone wanted to buy from me, so I moved on, and kept trying else where.
The biggest thing that made it a success though, was that I wanted to do this job. I wanted to bake. To me, it was fun.
