I am a parent

I was team mom on our baseball team. Our 9 year old team was invited to the Little Majors in Cooperstown, NY for 10 days. We needed $25,000 to get the team and the parents to New York. I contacted a Cookbook Fundraiser Company in Kansas and we began with the process.

I collected recipes for months and months. Put them together in the sections. The whole team helped. We told everyone why we were raising the money. They bought cookbooks like crazy. Between that idea and a few others, we successfully raised the money. The cookbooks raised about $5000.00 of the money. Very successful!

I would do it again in a heartbeat. Everyone puts their favorite recipes in, they get their friends and neighbors to put their favorites, thus the cookbook was a hit.

We created a very nice front for the cookbook and were able to add a "Thank You" page to everyone who helped us.
