Ink jet cartridges raise money and muscles

I'm a full time volunteer at a Buddhist church. My life is good and I love it, but after a few years of sitting so much my muscles shrank and I was feeling weak.
I talked to a few of my friends here and we hatched an amazing fund raising plan that was going to solve all our problems and help out the environment too.
We sent out an e-mail to all the members of our church and asked them to give us their old ink jet cartridges. When someone had an old one we would send them a return addressed envelope and they would just stick it in and return it to us. You would be surprised how quickly they accumulated.
In the end we raised about 500$ and bought a weight lifting set. Now we are some of the leanest Buddhists around.
