Kids Cookbook Fundraiser

I am a parent of a second grade girl and her class needed to raise money for an upcoming trip to the aquarium in Tampa, Florida. The PTA thought cookbooks would be a great idea to sell to neighbours and parents. I brought up the idea of having the kids submit their personal favourite recipes with directions and a sketched picture. Everything in the book was designed and written by the kids. The books cost about $5 per book to make and the kids sold them for $10. In the end her class sold over 200 books and they had a great trip to the aquarium with a fun picnic lunch.
