Kiss the Llama Fundraiser

We are fortunate to have a barn yard beside of our school for our agriculture education, so we put it to use! What we did was ask teachers who would not mind to be put in a drawing to kiss the Llama! We had a good response.

We placed pictures of these teachers on an individual bucket, and walked around during lunches to place your money in the bucket with the teacher that you wanted to kiss the llama. On the morning announcements, our business education classes made a video of the llama as if it were a dating show! It acted as if the llama was talking about his likes and dislikes( "I like long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners"). The school responded well.

At the end of the week, the teacher who had the most money in their bucket had to kiss the llama! The news paper came out, and it was a big deal in our town! We end up raising around $3,000 in one week to donate to Juvenile Diabetes!
