Magazine Fundraiser Gone Wild!

My nephew had a magazine fundraiser for his school. I, being the nice aunt that I am, decided to help him out. After all, it's great exercise for me to walk around the neighborhood with him.
We got a couple older people and some young college students with their gossip magazines. After that, it was hard trying to get people. So I decided to order some magazines just so he can maybe get up a little higher in his ranking. I like to read magazines when I'm bored anyway and he was trying to get some cool toy or prize. I'm not sure, but he wanted it bad.
I checked off Vibe magazine and Cosmopolitan (two of my favorite magazines!). Of course, my nephew didn't get to his goal, but atleast he tried and go something less awesome, but still, it's a prize.
A couple weeks later, I got my first Cosmopolitan magazine. Excitement! About two weeks later, I started getting Nickelodeon magazines. Then some gardening magazine. And a parenting magazine. Hunting magazines. Even a science magazine! I had no clue what was going on. All I knew was that I never got my Vibe subsription! I just knew I paid for two things and not I'm getting four magazines. By the end of the year, I had so many useless magazines in my house that I just make random collages of celebrities, flowers, I let my dog roll around in it. It was so much.
I'm not quite sure what happened, but all I know is from now on, I'll only check one box and subscribe to only one magazine.
