Magazine Fundraiser Teams Up to Raise $4000

When my daughter was in preschool the head start she went to in Connecticut wanted to have a petting zoo come to the school. So we did a few fundraisers at once. we were selling magazines through a magazine fundraiser.
We convinced the town hall to let us us their meeting room for a Saturday morning/afternoon. Then we posted in the local papers and shops/grocery stores that we were doing a craft fair fundraiser and anyone that wanted a table that day could rent the spot for twenty five dollars. Bakers were welcome as well. Anyone that had a table had to donate one item to be raffled off. We also set up a table for the magazine sales.
Between the magazine, table sales, and raffles the school made about four thousand dollars on the fundraiser. We were not only able to get the petting zoo to come to the school but we also set up a Dr. seuss day at the school for the next five years. where every student got a Dr. Seuss book on Dr Seuss's birthday.
