Magazine Fundraising the Old Way

I sold magazine subscriptions while I was a senior in high school for the varsity volleyball team. We were raising money for sweatshirts in addition to playing in a tournament.

Since none of us were big magazine readers, we decided to go around the community to the medical offices to sell to doctors, who usually have magazines in their waiting rooms.

We did this fundraiser for about a month and raised about $500 for our team.
