Monthly Mania

There are various ways to create your marketing plan, but what worked for us was to purchase only a few to use as samples and take orders. This way we did not have to purchase more than we could sell, although the original order was at a more expensive rate.
Armed with our sample calendars and order sheets we rushed out to promote them at school. As parents drove through the car line, picking up their children, we loudly hawked our samples, showing them pictures of their own children. Who can resist a calendar with a family member proudly displayed? A successful marketing approach!
Another opportunity arose on Sunday morning. After church we politely approached all the little old ladies. Grandmas are the BEST. It doesn't even have to be their own grandchild, any cute child will do!
Of course we called all of our friends and relatives. They purchased the calendars sight unseen. Dads took an extra copy to hang on their office walls. That sales presentation looks a lot better when your child is hanging in the background!
We collected enough orders to purchase our new uniforms. But the best part is having your child flip the calendar monthly and exclaim "Remember when we won that game?".
