My Fundraising Day for Recycling

On march 5 2006 we held a fundraising event in our neighborhood. We accepted used phones, ink cartridges - you name it - even bottles and cans. We gave free cookies and lemonade to those that donated as a small token of our appreciation.

We were raising the money for a field trip for a group of autistic children. The tip I'd like to share is don't spend too much on the cookies - lol.

We raised about 1000 dollars. Some people donated cash.
