New Rugby Equipment - Scratchcard Success

My college rugby club had no funds allocated to it last year for equipment or travel. We were one of the top teams in the country but we were not going to be able to make it to the Southeast championships to qualify for national's because we didn't have the money.

After a lot of brainstorming(and several failed ideas!) we stumbled upon the scratch-off fundraising program. At first we had trouble getting much interest, but we wound up with a great idea. 45 very large rugby player's put on a faux ballet and the scratch-offs were sold throughout the crowd. It was a huge success, we raised nearly $2,000 which got us there!

It was a great success for us!
