New Trier Lollipop Sale

by Nick

I was involved in a fundraiser for New Trier High School, and all the profits of the fundraiser went to building schools in Angola, Africa.

We decided to sell Ozark Lollipops because they are very popular at our school, and we could sell them for up to $1 (they are really much cheaper than a dollar) which definitely increased our profit margin.

In order to promote these very expensive lollipops we put them all on a large handmade display rack and colored the bottom of a couple of lollipops. The people that picked the lollipop with the colored bottom got a small prize like another lollipop or a piece of jewelry just like the carnival game.

The fundraiser was a big success, and over the four days we sold them we made over $500 dollars and had some pretty regular costumers to our stands.
