Our Amazing Chocolate Fundraiser

Recently, our high school has had budget cuts everywhere. All the clubs in the school have suffered as a result. One very important club, Tobacco Busters, really was affected. Each year, Tobacco Busters goes out to elementary schools all over the district and they educate the students about the dangers of drugs. With the budget cuts, Tobacco Busters was not able to afford the price of the trips.

The Tobacco Busters club submitted many budget requests, but had no success. As a result, we decided to try a fundraiser. We turned to chocolate bars, and we ended up raising about $1,000 ($24 per box!). The students in our school really loved the candy bars and they bought them because they all understood how important the Tobacco Busters club was.

Tobacco Busters helps children around the district make sure their future is positive. We just had a regular fundraiser, but we advertised our worthy cause a lot and everyone helped out! Just make sure you keep your prices pretty cheap and advertise your cause and everything will work out fine!
