Pizza for Dollars

Our fundraiser was a pizza cookoff! We had a pizza pie making contest. The contestants had to pay a small fee with the reward being a prize donated by a local merchant. At the event, people were given points for most creative pizza, tastiest pizza, best pizza pie making demonstration (flipping pizzas in the air,etc.), and of course best pizza. After the pizzas were made, slices were purchased for a dollar each and the winning entries were auctioned off. It was a lot of fun! We were earning money for marching band uniforms. We raised about 500 dollars and after expenses our net profit was about 300 dollars.
