Prom Dress Auction

I work for a non-profit organization that helps get teenage girls off the street. One of our core volunteer groups are their peers from the affluent local high school. In order to raise money for a girl who was not only HIV positive, but also pregnant the teen girls actually came up with this idea to raise money for her medical expenses. The girls who had just finished a rather long prom season had a prom dress fundraiser, so all the junior and senior girls who said they would donate their dress after prom would not have to pay for a prom bid. And then upon donating the dress, the girls would sell them on ebay and take proceeds to give towards this teens medical expenses. It was a great fundraiser, because it was the teens idea nad they motivated everyone to do it. They raise a lot of money and were to help her out by selling their old prom dresses online.
