Raising money for a Skiing trip

When I was in high school I was in a group known as Campus Life, we went on two different trips every year, one during Christmas break and one during Spring break. For both trips we would raise money so that the members of the group did not have to pay for the trips. Our most successful fund raiser was selling candy. In fact it was our most popular one as well.

We sold tootsie roll banks, and would set up outside local stores, as well as sell them at our schools, churches etc.

We were always able to raise enough money so that no one had to pay anything for the trips. As you can imagine this was a hard task, considering that we had over 100 people going on each trip.
