School Calendar Fundraiser

I work at a low income school in Alabama. We were trying to raise money to buy new workbooks. The parents are not very involved in PTA so we had to have the kids do a fundraiser. After much debate about what kind of fundraiser to try, someone mentioned the idea of a calendar. The idea was a hit. We decided to use a different class picture on each page.

One of the teachers took all the pictures and printed the pages on his computer. All the parents wanted to buy a calendar because all the kids' pictures were in there. They also sold to family members and in their neighborhoods. It was a huge success! We ended up raising $150 over our goal of $500! I would highly recommend trying a calendar fundraiser for your organization.
