School Sports Calendar Fundraiser Was a Hit!

My daughter's school was looking for an idea to raise money for the after school sports programs to upgrade their equipment. The parent commitee decided to publish a calendar, with each month's photo being a collage of each student playing their favorite sport. The kids were asked to have their parents take a picture of them in action, doing some kind of sport.
We chose the best photos and included them in the collages for each month and sold the calendars at all the sports events, school play, PTA meetings etc. We also held a community car wash to raise funds and had them on sale there.
It was a huge success, so much so that we had to print another batch when the first ones sold out in a week. It was a great concept because the collage idea for the photos allowed more kids to have their picture in the calendar, making more parents want ot buy it.
We didn't have any incentives to make people sell them, it was just hard work and community spirit, everyone was on board.
