Scratch and Play!

Our high school marching band hadn't had new uniforms in almost 25 years! The parent boosters decided to get together and try several different fundraisers. We tried the scratch cards for the first time and were pleased and surprised with the results. The students liked it because it was easy and there was no selling involved.

The donors were really generous! Think about it--if someone scratches off a $0.25 spot, they're not likely to just give you a quarter. They'll give more, maybe even a few dollars simply because it is their choice instead of an obligation.

We liked it because there were no boxes of candy or wrapping paper or other goods to keep track of and distribute. We even got a local merchant to match what we raised on our scratch cards!

The scratch cards are very inexpensive and the profits are great!! With the matching finds we raised close to $5,000!
