Scratchcard fundraiser raffle

My daughter's dance school held a fundraiser for a tree created out of scratchcards. You could buy an arms length of tickets for $5 or a body length amount of raffle tickets for $10.
When they sold all the tickets, they drew a winner.
I think people liked this idea because the money went to our children's dance programs and it was fun to try to win!
It appealed to the gambler in all of us, since we were doing a raffle to try to win scratchcards!
Needless to say, I did not win, but the raffle fundraiser raised $500 for $50 worth of scratchcards. Next year they are thinking of raffling off two trees of scratchcards.
I think they should!
