Sell Chocolate and Be cute...

When I was 6 yrs old, I had to sell 10 boxes of World's Finest Chocolate in order to get to go to school out of uniform. This was a big deal as everyday of my catholic school life, I was in a green plaid/pleated skirt and matching green sweater. At the time, my mom worked for a local newspaper, so after school I'd parade around everyone's desk panhandling chocolate.

Well, every year, being that I was the kid of the office, everyone would buy at least 1 candy bar from me.

Well one year, my mothers boss planned a joke on a fellow coworker and said he'd buy double of what the other guy would buy... so then I went to the other guy and he said ok, I'll buy a box. I went back to my mom's boss and told him he owed me for 2 boxes. He laughed and said that I should go back and tell the other guy that he was going to buy 5 boxes and that he dared him to do the same, all in the name of cute kids with chocolates.. sure enough, i went back and told him, and he laughed and said ok.

So there you have it, instant FREE DRESS at school. All for being cute. ;D
