Sold on Cookie Dough

I am an education major and I did my student teaching at a middle school this spring and the band sold cookie dough as one of their fundraisers for new uniforms.

It was hard for me because there were several band members in my classes and, of course, I had to buy one from ALL of them. It was the school's first experience with cookie dough sales.

Boy am I glad I did !! They are the best cookies I've ever had. I ended up with about 10 tubs in my freezer, but they didn't last long. Whenever a friend came over, I would give them a cookie and if they liked them, I'd give them a whole tub of dough.

Almost all of them called me and said if the school does it next year, please be sure to call them because they would like to order more.

So... if your school sold them this year and maybe the sales weren't what was expected because of the "newness" of the idea, tell them to try it again - now that the word is out, people will buy !!
