World's Finest Chocolate---Still Buying After All These Years

The first time I ever heard of World's Finest Chocolate, I was in the 4th grade at Coleman Intermediate School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Each student was given a box of chocolate candy to sell with the money going back to support the school (as this would've been in 1982-1983, please don't ask me to remember specifically what they were using it for).
Our school was offering what, to us, was incredibly cool prizes whenever we turned in the money from a box. They would enter everyone's name from that day that had brought in money, and draw for several prizes. The best prize anyone could get, in our minds, was the E.T. poster.
In order to get my name in the drawing for these I would beg my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone at all, to buy some chocolate bars.
Eventually I began using my own allowance just to get my name into the drawing. I remember getting a "Chinese yo-yo" and finally winning one of the coveted E.T. posters.
To this day, whenever I see a child selling World's Finest Chocolate candy bars I don't even ask what they're selling it for, I just reach into my purse and pull out the money. After all these years, World's Finest Chocolate still holds a fond place in my heart.
